Prepare your Organic
Management Plan and
complete and submit your
application forms.
Your organic management plan outlines what you are doing now, and what you will do in the future, to meet the requirements of the NASAA Organic and Biodynamic Standard.
Producers need to complete a producer application form where you will also find a description of the rights and duties of operators.
Processors or handlers need to complete a processor/handler application form where you will also find a description of the rights and duties of operators.
If you’re a producer AND a processor, you must complete both forms.
An inspection is conducted and a report outlines any requirements before you may be approved to use the Spring Leaf label.
